Content Writer
We’re looking for a globetrotter who can’t read enough about travel or stop writing about every off-the-beaten-path tip along the way. You are equally passionate about travel and writing who can inspire student travelers to leave their dusty dorm rooms and jet set around the world.
As Content Writer you will lead projects to establish content marketing best practices, localize content globally and contribute to content on our site, emails, app and more. If you thrive on empowerment, accountability and constant learning, you’ll love working in our hands-on environment which enables hundreds of thousands of students to travel the world.
Responsibilities:
- Strong communication skills; written and verbal
- Passion for learning about travel, the product you market and communicating clearly to customers
- Self-starter, comfortable tackling new projects independently
- Working knowledge of content management tools. Use customer-centric writing, design and research methodologies
- Deliver high-quality work, checking for errors in spelling, grammar, and hyperlinks
- Respond to customer reviews and social posts
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications or another communications-related field
- Have studied abroad or traveled, with a personal passion for travel
- Writing experience in a conversational voice, ideally to a student or young adult audience
- 1-2 years of professional experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience, or interest, localizing materials to support a global audience
