Jr. Marketing Analyst

We are looking for a data wiz to join our fast-growing marketing team. You will apply your love for data and learn to run advanced bid models for Paid Search and other keyword bidding platforms, incorporating a number of variables and data sources. Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage, and execute Paid Search / Pay Per Click (PPC) campaigns, including but not limited to strategy development, organization, and management
  • Hands-on keyword management as you run and revise bid models for Paid Search and other keyword bidding platforms, comprising dozens of accounts in multiple countries
  • Identify and execute opportunities to grow sales and reduce cost-per-acquisition (CPA)
  • Monitor PPC trends, best practices and techniques to ensure correct account spend/growth and to identify new opportunities
  • Proactively research campaign issues and formulate actionable solutions based off findings
  • Monitor seasonal trends in the business and revise bidding to ensure opportunities are maximized in high-seasons and low-seasons are optimized
  • Ideate, build and launch new campaigns and A/B tests
  • Manage tracking pixels using Google Tag Manager (GTM)
  • Day-to-day account management and interfacing with service providers

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, drive hard to completion, and deliver effective results
  • Successfully fulfill strategy by creating clear deliverables and recommendations
  • Developed understanding of reported metrics and ability to generate action plans from them
  • Ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, be decisive under ambiguity, and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong written skills and experience writing ad copy that is both effective and optimized
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in an Excel-centric position
  • A working understanding of Google Adwords and/or other bid platforms
  • Track record of success in growth and optimization through data modeling
  • Experience with bid models or bid management tools a plus
  • Heavy Microsoft Excel experience
  • Comfort handling large data sets
  • Understanding of the travel industry a plus
  • Google Tag Manager (GTM) experience a plus
  • Bachelor's degree required
