Travel Services-Temp to Perm

As a rapidly expanding tech company, StudentUniverse is looking for an energetic, results-driven candidate who enjoys the fusion of great technology and strong customer relationships. The Travel Services Department at StudentUniverse is a combination of sales agents and operations members who coordinate group travel for study abroad programs and special interest groups such as sports teams, humanitarian groups, family reunions, etc. This is a part time temp to perm position running from February through June or mid July 2019. In this key support role, you will utilize your strong written and verbal communication skills in qualifying new sales leads, managing our team inbox, calling airlines to request group space, and assisting with financial reconciliations. You will learn about the airline industry by researching group flight options and building client contracts.

What we hope you bring to the table:

A passion for travel and the desire to create travel solutions for educators
2-5 years of corporate/leisure travel agency experience is highly-desirable, but is not a must
Professional and thoughtful written and oral communications skills
Attention to detail and strong organization skills are required
A customer service oriented mentality - a natural relationship builder
Basic Salesforce experience is desired but not necessary
Experience working with spreadsheets and simple reconciliations
