A Semester in Snaps Contest
Are you obsessed with Snapchat? Do you happen to be studying abroad for the Spring 2017 Semester? If so, we want YOU to take over the StudentUniverse Snapchat. Whether you're jetting off to Europe, Australia, South America, or anywhere else in the world, we are looking for someone to document his or her travels for our viewers! Food, culture, friends, experiences, architecture — you name it!

If you have a passion for travel, a little bit of spunk and plan to explore various countries (or parts of the country you're in) while you're abroad, we'd love for you to enter. Please submit a video application showing off your personality and telling us about your study abroad plans. We also ask for you to submit a quick blurb telling us where you're traveling, why you selected the country you're studying in and what weekend trips you have planned. We encourage creativity!
Submission Period: January 13, 2017 - January 23, 2017.
Winner Announced On or Before: February 10, 2017.
Grand Prize Includes:
What's in it for you? Other than being Snapchat and Instagram famous, of course. We've got your weekend trips covered up to $1,000 AND we'll give you $500 in spending cash. We'll also throw in $100 for SIM card/data purchases.
The winner of the contest will be required to do the following:
- Takeover our Snapchat during travels
- Produce video content of travels (Live streams, vlogs, videos for Instagram, etc.)
- Tag us on Instagram and grant permissions for StudentUniverse to re-post all of their content/social updates
- Interact with media about your travels, if secured by Public Relations team
- Blog about their travels (optional)
