If you're traveling to Europe anytime soon, or if you're currently there studying abroad, there's no better way to see other countries in Europe than by train. When you travel by car or plane, it's easy to miss the countryside or true essence of a region; when you travel by train you can get to your destination in a hassle-free and relaxing way while having a view during your trip.
Well we're probably being a little optimistic to say that it would always be 100% stress-free; but we can certainly guarantee that on a train you won't have to deal with long lines at security checkpoints, baggage limits, or hidden fees... that should certainly help with some of the stress. And if you're a person who enjoys a little more legroom and arm freedom than what you get in a plane seat, then you'll enjoy traveling by train. Some rails even offer WiFi and plugs so you can continue to study hard or browse Facebook to pass the time.
Traveling by train throughout Europe also makes it easy to see the beauty of different regions. Rather than just looking at clouds or billboards, you're able to see the countryside, water, mountains, cities and more. Forget layovers or options of only one departure a day, with rail you can typically find multiple departure times in one day which allows for more flexibility. You also have the option to choose more than just one single journey by booking a rail pass versus rail ticket. You can book a single ticket or opt for a rail pass, which will allow for you to come and go as you please through a region within your planned travel period.
Traveling by train throughout Europe is truly one of the most relaxing and breathtaking experiences you can have. If you don't believe us... check out this video from RailEurope:
